Privacy Policy

Little and Often is a blog about building gentle, lasting habits. It is published by Wildcard Wellness, LLC (“we”, “us” or “our”), the company that makes the Meadow app. This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit the Little and Often website (the “Site”), sign up to hear from us, or write to us.

Who we are

Wildcard Wellness, LLC is a small company based in the United States. For data protection purposes we are the “controller” (or “business”) responsible for the limited personal data described here. You can reach us at support@growyourmeadow.com.

What we collect

When you browse. Like any website, the Site’s hosting provider receives technical details needed to deliver pages to you, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These are used to serve the Site, keep it secure and fix problems, and are kept only briefly in server logs.

Analytics, only with your consent. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which articles people read and roughly where visitors come from. It stays switched off until you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…, lasting up to two years) and records pseudonymous usage data such as pages viewed, the referring site, device and browser type, and approximate location. IP addresses are anonymised. It never receives your name or email address.

Email sign-ups. If you subscribe to updates, we collect your email address and the page you signed up from, and store them with our email provider so we can send what you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

When you write to us. If you email us, we receive your email address, whatever you choose to tell us, and anything you attach. We use it only to reply, and writing to us doesn’t add you to a mailing list.

We don’t ask for, and please don’t send us, sensitive health information. We’re a small editorial team, not a healthcare provider.

Cookies and similar technology

The Site uses as little as possible. Your cookie choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask on every visit. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing this Site’s data in your browser, which brings the banner back. You can also block cookies in your browser settings or use Google’s opt-out add-on.

Some articles may include embedded content, such as a YouTube video or an Instagram or X post. When an article includes one, that platform may set its own cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy, just as if you had visited it directly.

Who helps us run the Site

We share information only with the service providers that help us operate the Site, and only as much as they need to do that job:

• Vercel hosts the Site and delivers its pages.
• Sanity stores our articles and delivers the images you see.
• Google Analytics measures readership, only if you consent.
• Our email provider stores subscriber addresses and sends our emails.

We don’t sell personal information, we don’t share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we don’t use it to train AI models. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply.

Links to Meadow and other sites

Little and Often is published by the makers of Meadow, and some articles and boxes on the Site link to growyourmeadow.com or the App Store. Once you follow a link, the other site’s policies apply, including Meadow’s privacy policy. We aren’t responsible for the practices of sites we don’t run.

How long we keep information

• Server logs: kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
• Analytics data: kept for no longer than 14 months, then deleted.
• Email sign-ups: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Emails you send us: deleted once the conversation is finished, typically within 24 months, unless we need them longer to resolve a dispute or the law requires it.

Your rights and choices

Wherever you live, you can email support@growyourmeadow.com to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to get a copy, or to object to how we use it. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting what happened before. We’ll respond within 30 days (45 at most, and we’ll tell you if we need longer), and we won’t treat you differently for asking. Because we hold so little, we may ask you to write from the email address in question so we can find it.

In the EEA, UK or Switzerland. We rely on your consent for analytics cookies and email sign-ups, and on our legitimate interests to run, secure and improve the Site and to answer your messages. You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to and port your personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority, such as the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. We’d appreciate the chance to help first.

In California and other US states with privacy laws. In the last 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as an email address or IP address) and internet activity (such as pages viewed), for the purposes described above. We don’t collect sensitive personal information, sell personal information, or share it for targeted advertising. You have the right to know, access, correct and delete your information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We treat Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of analytics.

International transfers

We’re based in the United States, and our service providers process data there and in other countries. Where data about people in the EEA, UK or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on recognised safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or a provider’s certification under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Security

The Site is served over encrypted connections, and access to the accounts we use to run it is limited to the people who need it. No website can promise perfect security, but the best protection is collecting very little in the first place. If we ever learn of a breach affecting your information, we’ll notify you and regulators where the law requires it.

Children

The Site is written for adults and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, or under 16 where local law sets a higher age. If you think a child has given us their information, email us and we’ll delete it.

Not medical advice

Articles on Little and Often are for general information and encouragement. They aren’t medical advice, and nothing you read here creates a healthcare relationship. Please speak to a qualified professional about your own health.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update this policy if the Site changes in a way that affects your information, for example if we add a new service provider. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
